Mechatronics Workshop
The Gauteng Automotive Learning Centre is a state-of-the-art automotive skills development facility launched in 2014 as part of the Gauteng Provincial Government’s commitment to skills development. Established through a partnership between Nissan SA and the Automotive Industry Development Centre as part of the Nissan SA Investment Support Programme, the Centre provides training aligned with the latest vehicle technologies. Since 2016, its partnership with Germany’s bfz (Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der Bayerischen Wirtschaft) has further expanded its capabilities through mechatronics workshops covering machining, electrical and hydraulic skills, as well as training and teaching methodologies for trainers.

World Choir Games 2018
The World Choir Games is the world’s largest international choral festival and competition, organised by the INTERKULTUR Foundation for amateur choirs from around the globe. Held in South Africa for the first time in 2018, the 10th edition celebrated 30 years of INTERKULTUR and brought together more than 300 choirs from 60 nations, with approximately 16,000 participants across 28 competitions. The event showcased the unique spirit of South African choral music and promoted cultural exchange through a shared passion for singing.
